We are a small Melbourne-based business with a team of two. Our journey began during one of the toughest COVID lockdowns in Victoria, Australia. It was during this challenging time that the idea was born to introduce unique kitchenware products from Turkiye to the Australian market. What we have become today is a natural evolution of that original vision.

At Loqum, we’re a small business with a big vision: to honor the timeless traditions of the kitchen while reimagining them for modern life. Our tagline, Tradition Reimagined, is more than a phrase — it’s our promise to blend heritage, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design with the needs of today’s home cooks, or even commercial spaces such as specialty cafes and restaurants.

Though we’re new to the scene under the Loqum name, we bring over five years of hands-on experience in the retail kitchenware industry. During that time, we’ve learned what truly matters in a kitchen — durability, functionality, and beauty that stands the test of time. Now, as a proudly independent small business, we’re channeling that experience into building a curated collection of essentials that celebrate culinary traditions, while making them accessible and relevant for everyday use.
